Junior climbing

The junior activities are designed to get children and young people between the ages of 10 and 18 to start practicing climbing in an organized fashion. At present, there are about 60 children and young people who train with Linköpings klätterklubb on several separate occasions each week. Climbing shoes and harnesses are available to borrow from the club if the climbers do not have their own equipment.

The registration for the junior groups takes place before the semester in wich one is interested in starting to climb. Registration for the autumn semester of 2025 will be open from August 1-14 and a link to the registration will be available on this page. If there is more applications than available spots, the spots will be allocated by lottery.

If you have any questions, send an email to junior@linkopingsklatterklubb.se.

We’re looking for Junior leaders!

“We are looking for leaders for our Junior Groups! In particular, we’re seeking experienced climbers who want to teach climbing techniques and inspire young people eager to improve their skills. Do you feel passionate about teaching climbing? Do you have a child who wants to start climbing in one of the groups and would like priority placement? You’ll be supported by experienced leaders so you can grow in your leadership role. If you have experience in other youth training and want to get involved in climbing, we can see a place for you too! We’re a team of coaches with great group dynamics—and we have a lot of fun together. Come join us!
