40 year anniversary!!!
2026-05-05 18:04Linköpings Klätterklubb is celebrating its 40th anniversary and we are celebrating with a gathering at Slatteforsklippan on National Day 6/6!

There will be cookies and buns, climbing, competitions and a tip walk.
We are in the process of cleaning up the cliff and clearing paths (if you want to help, you are very welcome).

Changing rooms are being renovated
2026-05-05 17:55Both changing rooms need to be renovated as water damage has been discovered.
The work will begin on Monday 11/5 and will last at least 1 month.
We are working to ensure that there are at least 2 usable toilets.
More information about the schedule will come later.
Boulder building weekend – week 16!
2026-04-13 20:22Time to demolish, wash and build new problems in the boulder room!
The schedule is as follows:
16th Demolition: 5:00 PM
17th Wash, Gathering 5:00 PM in the hangar or 5:30 PM at OKQ8 Skäggetorp
– If you can only join us for one day, prioritize the wash!!
– Cars are always appreciated!!
18th Build!!! Course for new builders is required and will be held at 11:00 AM
LKK offers coffee and food in participation with all activities.
No help, no boulders, no fun!

Rope Building Weekend, Week 15

Thursday – 5-8pm Tear down
Friday – 4:30pm we gather in the hall to pack cars, see you at 5pm if you come straight to the car wash. (Petrol station in Ryd)
Saturday – 11-5pm build build build!!!!
Saturday – FOR NEW BUILDERS 11-12 training
Sunday – Competition

The spring meeting is held 26th of March.
Fixing Day
2026-03-12 21:07Sunday, March 15th, we will have the first “fixing day” of the year (one of hopefully many).
We start at 10 am and the plan is to get as much done as possible but also to establish plans for the future.
There will be painting, rebuilding shelves, tightening bolts, fixing moldings, etc.
If you are keen to help, you are always welcome to stop by.
The work will NOT affect the climbing, so normal opening hours apply.
Try-on belayers wanted
2026-03-05 19:52Would you like to give more people the opportunity to test how amazing climbing is?
We are currently searching for more people who can help belay at the try-on events.
To be able to become a Try-on climber you need to:
- Be a member of LKK,
- Have a green card,
- Have good belaying experience
- Be able to take about 2 sessions a month.
Drop-in sessions are two hours long, and take place between 18:00-20:00 on Tuesdays.
On Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings there are group bookings, the sessions are then between 1-2 hours. For each session you will receive a compensation of 110 SEK / hour. As a Try-on climber, you will be part of a fantastic group and meet lots of new people and see their joy when they complete the challenge of climbing up the wall.
Being a Try-on climber is a good and fun way to get involved with the club!

Rope Building Weekend W.9
2026-02-22 22:35Join us and build new routes, tear down old routes and MAYBE the most fun of all, wash grips!!
Thursday we start tearing down at 5pm.
Friday we wash grips, see you at 5pm at Hangaren or around 5:30pm at OKQ8 Skäggetorp.
All help is appreciated, cars are always nice for transporting grips and people.
Saturday & Sunday are about building and start at 11am, we will be slapping in as many new routes as we can to make it as fun as possible for us and the others who climb indoors.
LKK offers food and sweeter supplies in exchange for helping hands.
If you have never built before, you need to be there at the beginning of the first day of building when we will educate and tell you what to think about. (Then sign up for the 1-hour session on Saturday).

Invitation to LKK’s spring meeting 2026
2026-02-19 15:26Welcome to LKK’s Spring Meeting 26/3 (26th of March) at 18:00.
All members are welcome!
The meeting will start at 18:00 and will be held at the conference room in Hangaren (above the reception).
Questions and motions are to be sent to ordf@linkopingsklatterklubb.se three weeks or more before the meeting. Last day is 5/3 (5th of March).
One week before the meeting an agenda, motions and other attached documents will be posted on the webpage and in the climbing gym.
